A COVID Safe Event

2022 Art of Attraction will abide by all Queensland Government COVID directives.

We appreciate that there are significant concerns about the impacts and uncertainties due to the pandemic, and this is why we reiterate that the conference will abide by all Queensland Government directives.

The current QLD Government directive requires that all participants to any part of the event program, including the social program, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

 

Delegates may be required to provide their COVID-19 Digital Vaccination Certificate, or proof of a Commonwealth Government-sanctioned medical exemption, prior to being admitted attendance at the Conference or any of its satellite activities. If requested to do so and you are unable to provide this proof, then unfortunately you will not be granted access.

 

We understand this directive may be inconvenient, but we accept the Government's decision to act in a way it best believes will keep all attendees safe.

 

Can I attend virtually?

In 2021 we reached out to potential delegates seeking feedback on whether they would pay to attend the Summit virtually. The collective reply was clear. Given only a small number of people stated that they would be willing to pay a fee that would be necessary to cover the costs of hosting a hybrid event with a virtual access component, the decision for a solely face-to-face conference in 2022 was made.

We appreciate that the face-to-face for fully vaccinated delegates ‘model’ does not work for everyone - especially those in remote and indigenous communities. That is why we are negotiating to record and make presentations available online for a user-pays fee after the conference.

 

What happens if we go into another lockdown and state borders close?

If the Art of Attraction is unable to proceed due to COVID-19 Government-imposed restrictions, then we will consider options to either move to a virtual delivery or postpone to a future time. In that case, registrations will be transferred to that mode or date. If the registered delegate cannot attend on the new dates then either the registration can be transferred to another person or a refund will be given.

Regarding accommodation and travel, the conference organisers are not liable for any delegate, exhibitor, or partner travel and / or accommodation costs associated with the cancellation or postponement of the event. We strongly recommend that you look carefully are the Terms and Conditions of your chosen carriers and accommodation providers before booking.

What if the Summit and / or Awards dinner is required to reduce number of attendees?

This is highly unlikely with The Events Centre Caloundra being chosen due to its large capacity. However, if we are required to scale-back attendee numbers then delegates will be contacted individually to determine the best outcome.

 

What safety measures have been adopted for the 2022 Art of Attraction?

The health and safety of our delegates, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers and staff is paramount, so we are working closely with The Events Centre Caloundra to ensure everyone adheres to all government regulations and protocols. In addition, only fully vaccinated delegates and participants will be permitted to attend.

 

Do I get a refund if I have registered but don't wish to attend due to concerns about COVID-19?

We understand the concerns some people have about our changed world. So if you no longer wish to attend due to concerns about COVID-19 but there are no government-imposed restrictions in place then please email kim@awardsabsolute.com outlining your concerns. Each request will be considered on an individual merit, working with you to address your concerns and find a solution.
